Instructions

  • Dry the turkey with paper towels to remove extra moisture.
  • Place the olive oil, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and thyme in a bowl, and whisk until all combined.
  • Using a brush, season the turkey tenderloins generously with the mixture.
  • Set the air fryer to 350°F (175°C), and arrange the tenderloins in the basket with some space around them.
  • Cook for 20- 25 minutes, turning once halfway through if you prefer. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer. It should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing so the juices stay inside.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer instead of guessing when it is done.
  • Avoid overlapping pieces in the basket so air can move around.
  • Let the meat rest before slicing to keep it juicy.
  • Slice against the grain for tender bites.
  • Store cooked turkey in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to four days. To freeze, slice and pack in freezer bags for up to three months.
