Ingredients

  • 4 corn on the cob
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Prepare the corn by shucking off the husks and silk, then rinse the ears under cold water.
  • Next, pat the corn dry with paper towels and lightly brush each ear with olive oil.
  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (205°C) and place the corns in the basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for about 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the kernels are tender and slightly charred.
  • Carefully remove the corn from the air fryer, sprinkle salt over them ensuring it's evenly distributed.
  • At this stage, you can add some extra flavourings such as butter, chopped fresh herbs, paprika, chili flakes, or lemon juice.

Notes

  • You can store leftover corn on the cobs in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Reheat the leftovers in the microwave or in the air fryer until warmed through.
  • The sweetcorn is done cooking when the kernels are tender and easily pierced with a fork, and the outside is slightly charred or golden brown.
  • If you want to cook frozen corn on the cob in the air fryer, simply add a few extra minutes to cooking time.
