These Air Fryer Potato and Onions are ready in about 20 minutes and are easy to fit into everyday cooking. They cook up lightly crisp on the outside with a soft center and make a simple, delicious side dish.
Wash the potatoes and cut them into 2 cm cubes (about ¾ inch) so they cook evenly.
Place the diced potatoes in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, pepper, and any seasoning you like, then mix well.
Preheat the air fryer, then add the potatoes to the basket in a single layer. Cook at 195°C (383°F) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket once halfway through.
After 15 minutes, add the sliced onions to the basket and gently mix them with the potatoes.
Continue cooking for another 10 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender inside and lightly crisp on the outside, and the onions are soft and lightly browned.
Notes
Cut the potatoes into similar sizes so they cook evenly.
Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. If you’re making a larger batch, cooking in two rounds gives better results.
Shake or stir halfway through cooking.
Adjust seasoning once cooking is finished.
