Ingredients

  • 8 pieces Cumberland sausages
  • spray oil

Instructions

  • Pierce the sausages a few times using a small knife or a toothpick to help them release more fat.
  • If using vegetarian sausages or lean sausages, spray with some oil on them to avoid the sausages sticking to the pan. You can also use a brush if you don't have spray oil in hand.
  • Place the sausages in your air fryer's basket in a single layer, without overlapping them.
  • Set the air fryer to 190° C (375° F) and then cook the sausages until they’re nicely browned and crispy on the outside and the core temperature reaches 74 °C (165 ° F).
  • It takes about 15 to 17 minutes, depending on the thickness of the sausages and how many you have in the basket.

Notes

  • Use a cooking thermometer to ensure the doneness of the sausages.
  • If you have a smaller air fryer or you want to feed a crowd, cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding the basket(s).
  • Modify the cooking time based on the size of your sausages. If you're using frozen sausages, include a few extra minutes in your cooking time.
