Ingredients

  • 6 breakfast sausages
  • ½ tsp cooking olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  • Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it heat up for a few minutes.
  • Place the sausages in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving a bit of space between each one. This allows the hot air to circulate for even cooking.
  • Cook fresh sausages for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. If you’re using frozen sausages, add 2–3 extra minutes to the cooking time.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure the sausages have reached an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for pork or 165°F (74°C) for poultry sausages.
  • Let the sausages rest for a minute or two, then serve them hot alongside your favorite breakfast sides.

Notes

  • Space out the sausages in the basket for even cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to avoid undercooking or overcooking.
  • Add an extra 2–3 minutes of cook time if you like your sausages extra crispy.
  • No need to thaw frozen sausages—just add a few extra minutes to the cook time.
