Ingredients

  • 500 g baby potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp cajun spices
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ¾ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Wash and dry the baby potatoes. Cut the larger ones in half or quarters to ensure even cooking.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and cajun spices. Make sure each piece is evenly coated for the best flavor.
  • Arrange the potatoes in a single layer inside the air fryer basket. Avoid overcrowding to ensure even cooking.
  • Set the air fryer to 195°C (385°F) and cook for 18–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The potatoes should be crispy on the outside and fork-tender inside.
  • Once done, transfer the potatoes to a serving dish and sprinkle with freshly chopped herbs for extra flavor. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • If cutting the potatoes, make sure they’re all similar in size for even cooking.
  • Tossing the potatoes halfway through ensures they cook evenly and get crispy on all sides.
  • Use just enough amount of olive oil. A light coating helps with crisping, but too much can make them greasy.
  • Serve immediately as they taste best fresh out of the air fryer while still crispy.
