Ingredients

  • 500 g lamb chops
  • ½ tbsp cooking olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp dried thyme
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Pat the lamb chops dry with a paper towel to help the seasoning stick. Rub them with olive oil, then season generously with dried thyme, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  • Set your air fryer to 400°F (205°C) and let it preheat for a few minutes. Preheating ensures even cooking and a nice sear on the outside of the chops.
  • Place the seasoned lamb chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they don’t overlap.
  • Cook for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through. Adjust the cooking time if you prefer them more or less done.
  • Remove the lamb chops from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes. This helps the juices redistribute, keeping the meat tender.

Notes

  • Use a Meat Thermometer to check the internal temperature. Medium-rare is 135°F, medium is 145°F, and well-done is 160°F.
  • Don’t Overcrowd the Basket - Leave space between the chops for proper air circulation and even cooking.
  • Marinate for Extra Flavor -  If you have time, marinate the lamb chops for an hour or two in olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and lemon juice. It adds extra depth to the flavor.
  •  Always rest the lamb chops for a few minutes before serving to keep them juicy.
