Ingredients You’ll Need

labelled picture of ingredients for air fryer beef burgers
  • Ground beef – I like to use ground beef with at least 15% fat content for perfectly juicy patties.
  • Onions – It adds extra flavor and moisture to the patties. I prefer grating it into the mixture. You can also use shallots as a substitute.
  • Garlic – I enjoy adding fresh garlic to my burger patties! You can turn it into a paste using a mortar and pestle or grate it with a Microplane. If you prefer, you can substitute fresh garlic with garlic powder.
  • Rosemary – I enjoy the aroma of fresh rosemary in my burgers, but a little goes a long way to avoid overpowering the patties. If you prefer, you can substitute it with parsley or thyme
  • Seasoning – I stick to freshly ground pepper and salt to keep things simple.

Recipe FAQs

How to store leftover hamburgers?

While it’s bestl to enjoy this dish freshly made on the day it’s prepared, any leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, maintaining their freshness.

Can I freeze the leftovers?

Certainly! If you’ve created your burger patties using fresh ground beef, they freeze beautifully! However, if you’ve used frozen burgers, it’s best not to freeze the leftovers. Instead, consume them within 48 hours for optimal taste and quality.

Why do I need to flip burgers while cooking?

I strongly suggest flipping your burgers in the air fryer, just as you would on a grill or BBQ, to ensure they cook perfectly on both sides.
